Diversity and inclusion

The strength and diversity of our workforce is our most valuable asset.

Diversity of background, experience and thought enrichens our decision making and makes our business better. It is essential for our growth.

Tyman is committed to building a diverse workforce and engendering an inclusive working culture. This means for our workforce to be truly representative of all sections of society, and for each employee to feel valued, respected and supported in bringing their authentic self to work without fear or consequences, regardless of any characteristic such as race/ethnicity, colour, age, disability, gender, gender reassignment, gender identity or expression, marital status, sexual orientation, religion/belief, pregnancy/maternity or other characteristics protected by law.

The Group’s Diversity & Inclusion policy sets out the requirements of our businesses in delivering on this commitment and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and accepted employment practices. All areas of diversity and inclusion are discussed regularly at Board level and with divisional management during succession planning sessions and site visits. Furthermore, the Board has codified its commitment to leading Tyman on diversity and inclusion as set out in the Board Diversity Policy.

The latest information and metrics on diversity and inclusion can be found in the Group’s Annual Report and Accounts. Tyman’s UK gender pay gap reports are available below:
